I’ve had some ask what should I wear to a Sherlock Reenactment Dinner? The answer? We recommend wedding attire, since we’ll be playing out The Sign of Three, or I should say you’ll be playing out The Sign of Three!
We welcome you to dress up in your favorite wedding attire or pick a character from The Sign of Three (these photos included should help). Big hats are always welcome at weddings, especially at this one! We also ask that you be a part of the Dinner’s Entertainment, just let us know ahead of time if you have something you’d like to play out.
Our dinner choice is an Italian buffet, vegan and gluten-free options are included (please let us know when purchasing these tickets if you require one of these options).
Purchase tickets at Sherlock Reenactment Dinner and remember it’s pre-registrants only. Mike Stanford will also be attending this wedding along with a young Sherlock!
We finally have our Facebook EVENT page sorted out, it was giving us problems earlier this weekend. We also spent the weekend working on pre-convention activities…
We’re planning a team up with Arnold’s Go-Karts, that not only has go-karts but laser-tag, rock climbing, amusement rides, miniature golf, an arcade, a bowling alley, pool tables, a bar, and restaurant, all within walking distance of the hotel! Depending on the weather we do recommend using the hotel shuttle though, since it’s about a 15 minute walk.
We may have a possible tour lined up, for those fans interested in doing something different Friday morning.
Relive a fond moment…For those that watched Sherlock The Abominable Bride on the big screen. We’re also looking into a possible screening, at the local Regal, across the street from the convention hotel.
Also working on our exclusive button/pin sets! Below is a photo-shopped prototype design.
More updates include an email from Hartswood Films, they continue to stay in touch, and want to be updated on our event/projects.
We’ll have more announcements soon… keep watching!
My tardiness during the holidays is much like my tardiness of working and running too much. My New Year’s resolution is to try to get more things done online. For now, I’ll share some holiday cheer! -Rosemary [Sherlock Fans USA]
As a holiday gift to all of you, we’re celebrating the anniversary of The Abominable Bride! It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 4 years since we fans first watched that holiday special! Let’s start things off with some fun photos from when the special first aired!
We also promise a special showing of The Abominable Bride, during our event next year!
On display during our event, fans will also get a closer look at some of the screen used items, including this telegram to Sherlock Holmes.
